Education and experience:
Verica Ivanovska is a researcher and a teaching associate at the Faculty of Medical Sciences, University “Goce Delcev”-Stip in Macedonia. She holds a Pharmacy degree from Macedonia and master degree in Public health from the UK (Chevening scholar). She currently pursues a specialization in Clinical pharmacy in Macedonia, in addition to her ongoing PhD studies in the Netherlands.
Verica’s research focuses on medicines use, pricing and policies in the health system and societal context. The main clinical areas are paediatric patients and use of antibiotics. The Dutch Government has granted her a NUFFIC scholarship to pursue a professional PhD at Utrecht University.
Verica Ivanovska has been affiliated with the World Health Organization since 2002 on various projects on rational use of medicines in developing and transitional countries. She is also a member of the Antimicrobial Medicines Consumption (AMC) network at WHO EURO.
Verica is a member of the editorial board of a professional magazine published by the Pharmaceutical Chamber of Macedonia.
